1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Credit Path Can. (operating as Credit Path Canada) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information in compliance with PIPEDA, FIPPA (Ontario), and PIPA (Manitoba).

Credit Path Canada is a financial literacy and credit education platform registered as a sole proprietorship under Credit Path Can. in British Columbia.

3. Consent

We collect, use, and disclose your personal information only with your knowledge and consent. By creating an account and uploading your credit bureau data, you expressly consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in this Policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting info@creditpathcanada.ca.

Manitoba Residents: You have the right to withdraw consent for any non-essential use of your personal information at any time without penalty, other than loss of access to services that require such information.

4. Information We Collect

Account Information: Full name, email address, phone number, province of residence.

Credit Bureau Data: When you upload your Equifax credit bureau report, we collect credit score, tradeline information, collection accounts, credit inquiries, and public records — solely to generate your personalized credit education blueprint.

Usage Data: Actions completed, login activity, program progress.

Payment Information: Processed exclusively by Stripe. We do not store card numbers.

5. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account, generate your personalized blueprint, deliver monthly educational content, send transactional emails, process payments, and improve the platform.

Referral Disclosure: Credit Path Canada may receive referral compensation from financial product providers referenced in the platform. This does not influence the educational content of your blueprint.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share only with: Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting). All providers are bound by data processing agreements.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information while your account is active. Upon cancellation, your personal information and credit bureau data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. To request deletion: info@creditpathcanada.ca.

8. Security

We use encrypted data storage, secure HTTPS connections, row-level security policies, and access controls. No electronic storage is 100% secure.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. Ontario residents may contact the IPC at ipc.on.ca. Manitoba residents may contact the Manitoba Ombudsman at ombudsman.mb.ca. To exercise any right: info@creditpathcanada.ca.

10. Age Restriction

Credit Path Canada is for individuals 19 years of age or older. Accounts found to belong to individuals under 19 will be terminated and data deleted.

11. Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be communicated via email with 14 days notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
